If you want to be like Pete in pete’s wicked travels, then get ready to head to space. NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston is where astronauts are trained. You can spend the day being an astronaut and even go to the moon if you would like.The famous Mission Control, seen in several movies and from where space flights are controlled, is also located here. This makes for an awesome adventure and a day of make believe for the kids. Space Center Houston is the official visitors’ center. It has several fun attractions, like Space Center theater, Blast Off theater, Feel of Space, and other fun activities depending on the day that you go. When I went, I also took a tour to Mission Control, which is open to public tours whenever there aren’t any space missions currently in process. Taking a trip to NASA is also a good educational experience. Not only for children, but also for adults. So, put on your space gear, start reading about space exploration, and get motivated to take your own trip to the moon.
