Today one of the students from my night animation class asked me for a college recommendation. I of course agreed to do it. This kid is so excited, he can’t stop talking about graphics and animation careers. He has come and observed on my day job several times now. There is a part time opening in the mail room, it’s not much but I think that he is going to apply for it. I know exactly where he is coming from, it wasn’t all that long ago that I would do just about anything to be around a studio like ours. I’m going to put in a good word so he will get the job.
