My Sister Displayed the Typical Latex Allergy Symptoms in the Hospital
No one in our family even suspected that my sister had any allergies, much less serious ones. When she went into the hospital to have her appendics removed, we were shocked at the unpleasant latex allergy symptoms she began displaying. Thankfully, the doctor recognized the problem almost immediately and put up latex allergy warning signs on her patient room door. Fortunately, my sister did not have an extremely bad allergy attack, and she continued to recover quickly. I hope she never has to go through that again. Now I’m wondering if I should also consider being tested for the same allergy. I would rather know before than later.
