Catching Up
My high school girlfriend and I had a great time at our high school reunion. I discovered that she was divorced and had been living alone for about ten years. I told her that I almost married once, but at the last minute it was called off because it wasn’t meant to be. All I could think about while we were talking was how to win back lost love. By the end of the evening I knew for sure that I had never gotten over her. I asked her to dinner the next night and to my surprise she said yes. I could tell that we were reconnecting.
