A Basic Primer to the Concept of Dropshipping
Dropshipping is essentially reselling someone else’s items. You don’t hold the stock yourself. You just find the buyers who pay you first. You then buy the items from the supplier who sends the goods out directly to the end customer. It’s a win-win situation for both you and the supplier as the supplier doesn’t have to find the customers (you do) and you don’t have to ship out the goods or hold any stock (the supplier does all this). So if you’re selling ladies platform sandals for example, you’d source suppliers of this type of ladies shoes and approach them with the proposition of dropshipping.
