Home Care For The Elderly Beats A Nursing Home
When I was in high school I worked part-time at a nursing home in my community. It made me sad to see senior citizens living unfulfilled lives with seldom visits from their family and friends. So when my grandpa sustained injuries that would require he have around the clock care I begged my parents not to put him in a nursing home.
My parents knew that they couldn’t give him the care he needed but fortunately we found an elder home care agency that could provide the help we needed. After he left the hospital my grandpa was able to stay in his home, where he is most comfortable, and receive the help he needed. He now only needs a nurse a couple hours a day and is well on his way to recovery.
