Relational database management software and Mr. Codd
I used to laugh when I first heard the name E.F. Codd. Well, no one would probably laugh as much as I do because other than the resemblance of the name to the popular aquarium fish, there’s not much else to make a joke about it. But it does hold dear in the laughing portion of my brain because I’ve been around cods all my life and know their funny habits. Don’t ask. Anyway, I shouldn’t laugh because he is the genius behind relational database and the formation of relational database management software, which is key to the success of my business. I owe him big time!
