Customer Service Coordinator Jobs
A customer service coordinator is responsible for coordination of various administrative activities in a customer service department. Typical duties of a customer service coordinator include files management, scheduling conferences, making arrangements for training sessions of customer service assistants, processing secondary requests for service requests, assisting customer service managers, making outbound calls or receiving incoming calls on behalf of the department, participating in motivational programs for customer service associates or customer service assistants, and performing other tasks assigned by customer service managers. A customer service coordinator typically reports to a customer service manager. A customer service coordinator should have a high school diploma or an associate’s degree. Prior experience working as a customer service coordinator may be advantageous. Excellent administrative skills are essential. Ability to handle multiple tasks at a time is essential. Familiarity with MS Word and Excel may be required.
