new york wedding photojournalism –bring it on! An engaged couple recently came to the Manhattan area via the midwest because their jobs sent them here. They brought me in to add a creative edge to their wholesome nuptials. From the looks of these two fresh faced midwesterners, this photographer never would have thought that. From the moment I met them I took them for the elegant city slickers that they are! We did their engagement session in Central Park. When they both showed up wearing Michigan sweatshirts, I knew they were good, solid, midwestern people. We had a fabulous shoot in sport caps and gloves, and I snapped away while they had a snowball fight in the sheep meadow and in front of the Alice in Wonderland statue near the theatre. What a fabulous day we had.
