Okay, that doesn't sound quite right. What I'm trying to say is that tonight the Cavs need to stuff the ball down Z's throat until he defecates lumbering hooks onto Brendan Haywood's chest, Cleveland Steamer style.
In a completely unanticipated turn, Darius Songalia was suspended for slapping Lebron. Video here, 10 seconds in. Of all the contact throughout this series, this is what draws a suspension?
I'd guess this is the league feeling that some penalty needed to be levied against the Wizards for the constant unnecessary contact perpetuated throughout the series, keying in on a debatable slap that was already deemed intentional enough to warrant a technical, that neither jeopardizes a central figure now affects a potential Game 7.
So now here we are, with our frontcourt matched up against a team with Brendan Haywood, Antawn Jamison, Andrey Blatche, and a cardboard cutout of a young Wes Unseld. Let Delonte, Boobie, Wally, whomever just stand on the wings to protect Lebron from half court traps and feed the ball into the post. Once the ball goes into Z, have Lebron cut to the hoop quickly, preventing easy double teams, and watch the points, fouls and put backs pile up.
I've never really called for Mike Brown's head before, but after doing such a poor job of going after their foul ridden front court down the stretch of Game 5, if we don't build a game plan around attacking the Wizards burgeoning weakness, I might need to take Mike Brown's head myself.
And between fits of lunacy I'll parade it in front of Lebron and tell him that that is what happens to people who sit back and "let the game come to them" rather than kicking their opponents in the balls and stepping on the throats when they're down.
Worst case scenario, I think we'd play with a lot of nervous energy in Game 7. So we got that going for us, which is nice.
Go Cavs!

If the Cavs end up dropping this series, which I don't they will but if, Mike Brown has to be fired.
Even if they do win this series, you have to think hard about the future of this team lead by Brown. Don't you think that D'Antoni would be a good fit and that he is the kind of coach that Bron would want to play for?
I'm getting ahead of myself, but it is something to think about.
His offensive game planning has been terrible, but you can't knock the success he's had in the playoffs. The best teams have an offensive and defensive system, so even bringing in D'Antoni, we would need our coach to grow. Take the athletes off Phoenix and they give up 120 ppg.
There's no video on the link.
It's Round 2 Time!
